Volunteer at Spirit Life

Serving God and others is an enriching experience. At SLCC we constantly invite people to serve on many different levels. We are currently looking for volunteers for the following ministries:

The Usher Ministry

The ushers greet and direct all of our new visitors, as well as our congregation. They also hand out resources, gather the collection and are available to provide assistance to everyone, as needed.

The Hospitality Team

The hospitality team provides an environment where guests are made to feel welcome. We are always looking for individuals with big smiles and warm hearts to serve in this ministry. This ministry provides greeters, operates our welcome center, and prepares refreshments for guests and for our church family.

Multimedia Team

Projecting the words to songs so that the congregation can sing along and projecting the announcements are part of the responsibilities of the multimedia ministry. If you can navigate technology, then this may be the area that you will enjoy serving in.

Praise and Worship Ministry

This team leads the congregation in praise and worship every Sunday morning. We are always looking for singers and musicians who have a heart for God, love our church and enjoy leading others into God’s presence. Those interested in serving on this team would need to first audition and also meet certain requirements.

Children and Youth Ministry

Our children’s ministries Little Heroes (1 year to pre-K) and our Transformers (Kindergarten-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade) are looking for teachers that enjoy working with children. Our youth ministry, Joyful-Rebellion (junior high and high school), are also looking for energetic and passionate individuals who enjoy working with teens. However, to provide the safest environment for our children and teens, everyone interested in working with our children or teens must undergo a background check, fill out an application and be interviewed. There are also other requirements that must be met.

Livestream Ministry

Our livestream team operates the cameras, the live chat and streams our service for viewers to watch around the world. If you like tech, enjoy serving in an environment where everything has to be on cue, then this might be the right ministry for you.
