John and Myrna Brito have been married for thirty years and together have a charming son, Jeremiah. John Brito is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and is a second generation pastor. He has a master of divinity and a doctor of ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. John enjoys great coffee, reading books, taking long walks, bike riding, watching movies, eating great sushi and spending time with his family. He also enjoys all things chocolate.
Myrna Brito is deeply appreciated for her ability to use her multifaceted talents to be of assistance to the various ministries. She is passionate about working with women, to build them up and encourage them to reach their God given potential. Myrna enjoys coffee dates with John, enjoys reading, watching movies and, really, all things techie. She also enjoys having a great time with her family. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University Los Angeles.

Jahzell Rodriguez
Jahzell serves as a leader in the Rooted young adults ministry of Spirit Life Community Church. He is currently pursuing his BA in Religion and Ministry from Vanguard University of Southern California. Jahzell is a graduate of LABI College, and is a credentialed licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. He has a passion for reaching young adults that have a heart for serving the Lord, and as such helps with the Next Generation Ministers department within SPD, as regional coordinator. Jahzell is married to Daisy Rodriguez and on his time off enjoys watching movies, and tasting diverse types of foods, and participating in adrenaline-driven activities with Daisy. He also likes having coffee with friends and enjoying a good laugh.

Omar Rojas
Omar Rojas is a young man that serves as a leader in the youth ministry “Joyful Rebellion” alongside his wife Sara Rojas. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with an emphasis on Ministry and Leadership from Vanguard University of Southern California. He enjoys hiking, reading, expressing himself in writing, and going out for walks with his wife. His thinking face has occasionally been mistaken with a serious attitude, but do not let that fool you, he is only thinking. He is a composed, thoughtful, and committed individual.

Sara Rojas serves as a leader in the youth ministry “Joyful Rebellion” alongside her husband Omar Rojas. Sara is a graduate of LABI College where she obtained an Associate Degree in Bible and Ministry and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business: Organizational Management from Vanguard University of Southern California. She loves God and people. She is passionate to see people being transformed by God’s word to experience true life change. Sara loves adventures that include outdoor activities: visiting new places, trying new meals, meeting new people. She enjoys hiking, strolls by the beach, traveling, photography, and her absolute favorite—spending time with her husband.
