You probably dislike being negatively judged for your appearance. That condescending look, that dismissive attitude or that subtle slight are ways this type of judgment is expressed. Maybe it’s your skin color, or accent, or the way you dress or your hairstyle or the type of car you drive that attracts this judgment? Any way you look at it, it’s wrong. Now think of all the times you’ve refused to make contact with a homeless person. Same kind of judgment? Yes. The law of love that Jesus introduced stands against this type of treatment of other human beings. God wants us to treat everyone with the dignity that they deserve because God loves them.
