Life will knock us down at times. We’ll face circumstances that will
overwhelm us and challenge our faith in God. We’ll be tempted, and at times,
succumb to that temptation. These and other circumstances can make us feel
like giving up our commitment to God and our family, and, if heeded, even
rob us of our motivation to pursue our God-given dreams.

This is why we must determine to never give up and to get back up every time
we’re knocked down. Proverbs 24:16 says, “The godly may trip seven times,
but they will get up again. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the
wicked.” Vince Lombardi said, “The real glory is being knocked to your knees
and then coming back. That’s real glory. That’s the essence of it.”

So if you’re down, get back up. You still have fight left in you. “Be strong
in the Lord and in his mighty power.” (Ephesians 6:10)
